Working with children since 1998 has been part of my purpose in this world. Children are the easiest to provide services to because they are open to listening, want help, and are eager to share their thoughts, emotions. Unfortunately, children today are facing more and more issues that parents are unsure of how to handle due to unfamiliarity. If only each child came with an instruction manual at birth, right? Our children are facing divorces, deaths, bullying, low self-esteem, self-harm, etc., and without healthy coping skills. Children struggle to find a way to cope with their emotions and need guidance, teaching, and role-modeling to develop healthy coping skills. As a therapist, I am unashamed to say all 4 of my children have been to counseling at some point specifically to learn coping skills! Regardless of what your child is struggling with, we would be honored to facilitate their journey towards a healthier mental health. Please call our office to discuss any questions you may have.
